Karkhana Hub – Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 15, 2025

This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") is published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and is governed by relevant provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and associated rules framed thereunder.

This Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between Massless Innovations Private Limited, the operator of Karkhana Hub (hereinafter referred to as "Karkhana Hub", "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), and the end user (hereinafter referred to as "User", "You", or "Your").

1. Definitions

  • Booking: A confirmed reservation made through the Karkhana Hub platform for use of machines, equipment, labs, or workspaces.

  • Vendor: Any third-party provider or partner listed on the platform offering physical infrastructure or equipment.

  • User: Any individual, organization, or institution using the platform to make a booking.

2. User-Initiated Cancellations

Users may cancel bookings through their Karkhana Hub dashboard or by contacting the support team.

Refunds will be calculated based on the time of cancellation relative to the scheduled start time:

All refund amounts are subject to applicable taxes, payment gateway deductions, and processing fees (if any).

3. No-Show Clause

If the User fails to attend or utilize the booking without cancellation:

  • No refund will be processed.

  • The booking will be marked as a "No-Show".

  • Repeated No-Shows may result in account warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent restrictions.

4. Cancellation by Vendor or Platform

If a booking is cancelled by a Vendor or by Karkhana Hub due to technical, operational, or logistical reasons:

  • A full refund (100%) will be issued to the User.

  • Alternatively, the User may opt to reschedule the booking at no additional cost.

5. Refund Process and Timelines

  • Refunds will be initiated within seven (7) business days of cancellation approval.

  • The amount will be credited to the original method of payment within seven (7) to ten (10) business days, subject to the payment provider's processing timeline.

  • Wallet or credit-based refunds (if applicable) may be processed instantly.

6. Exceptions

Exceptional refund requests due to force majeure events or emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Users must submit a written request with appropriate documentation to support@karkhanahub.com. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Company.

7. Grievance Redressal

For any concerns or disputes regarding cancellation or refunds, Users may reach out to the designated Grievance Officer:

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising under or in relation to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

9. Amendments

Massless Innovations Private Limited reserves the right to amend or modify this Policy at any time. Users will be notified of any material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
